Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
• Order Processing: Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels to meet the demands of our cafe and restaurant operations.
• Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
• Budget Management: Work closely with the finance department to ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of received products and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries for reference and audit purposes.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, product availability, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Communication: Collaborate with various departments, including kitchen and service staff, to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely fulfilment.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: less than 1 year of experience in a purchasing or related role.
• Gender: Open to all genders.
• Location: Paragon Bay (Ground Floor), Reem Island, Marina Square, Abu Dhabi.
