Job Description:

As an HR and Administration Officer at Mutawa Marine, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our organization. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the HR and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support such as managing office supplies, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
  • HR Documentation: Prepare and maintain HR-related documents, including employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Attendance and Leave Management: Monitor employee attendance and leave records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance and other perks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
