Responsibilities:

• Surveillance and Safety: Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents, enforce safety rules, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Rescue Operations: Perform water rescues and administer first aid as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all lifeguard equipment is in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Customer Service: Interact with pool guests, provide assistance, and maintain a positive and safe environment.
• Emergency Response: Execute emergency action plans and protocols when necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other lifeguards and facility staff to ensure effective communication and a coordinated response to incidents.

Requirements:

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Valid lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification are required.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of lifeguarding experience is acceptable.
• Physical fitness: ability to pass a lifeguard fitness test.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Keen observation skills to identify potential hazards.
• Availability: flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays.
