Responsibilities:

• Communicate with debtors to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding debts.
• Initiate collection efforts by contacting debtors via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment agreements.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and follow up on missed payments.
• Examine and evaluate the financial circumstances of debtors to decide on the best course of action.
• Collaborate with legal teams when necessary to pursue legal action against debtors.
• Provide regular updates and reports on debt collection activities to management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A basic understanding of financial principles and debt collection laws is preferred.
• Prior experience in debt collection or customer service is an advantage but not required.
